Inside Sales Associate

Lake Weeders Digest, founded 17 years ago, offers a vast selection of unique lake and pond solutions designed to solve issues with aquatic weeds, muck, algae, and more. Additionally, we provide a diverse offering of products that enhance our customers’ enjoyment on and in the lake. We sell and ship across the world.

We are a small company with a fun, hard-working, close-knit team. We have a passion for our customers and our products. Our purpose is to improve lakefront owners’ quality of life by providing the most complete offering of unique and beneficial lake & pond solutions in the world. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our inside sales team as a commissioned based Sales Associate.

As an Inside Sale Associate at Weeders Digest, the customers come to you, already pre-qualified and eager for a solution. Through knowledge, expertise, and a strong desire to serve the customer, your primary responsibility is to sell products that provide that solution. We will provide the materials and resources required to learn and acquire that knowledge and expertise.

The Job

  • Sell products through consultation, assisting customers solve their lake weed, muck and algae issues.
  • Develop and maintain an extensive knowledge of the company products, pricing, and availability.
  • Become an expert in lake & pond management issues, first focusing on weeds, muck, and algae, then continually expanding your knowledge of related matters and concerns.
  • Communicate with customers through phone, e-mails, chats, and in-store visits.
  • Acquire new customers by reaching out to leads, managing those leads to a successful close.
  • Upsell a customer when it is in their best interest.
  • Enter sales orders into our ERP system (NetSuite) upon closing a sale.
  • Respond to customer queries and/or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Work with various internal departments to meet our customers' needs.
  • Attend occasional tradeshows, representing and selling Weeders Digest products.
  • Perform daily tasks as may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of successful sales experience.
  • High School Diploma/GED (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
  • Professional appearance and attitude.
  • Experience within an industry related to lake and pond products is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
